I love the boho looks on you, Sita, even if they didn’t quite hit the way you wanted. 💕 The Olson pic is amusing, like, you have many years before you really look like an older woman, why push it? 😁
Was this AB’s formula from HMS post? I don’t know how I missed it because this is a very good formula for the reasons you mentioned; specifically the way the black shoes are grounding it and the necklace adds something lovely. I really enjoyed your iterations on it.
Love seeing your try ons, so I'm glad you're posting them. I totally get your point about irony and aging as a fellow middle aged (and short + curvy) person. But also, I can absolutely imagine seeing and loving that Olsen outfit on an 80 year old lady on the UES in Manhattan! I think conveying youthfulness (at least of spirit) ultimately comes down to wearing what you love with confidence.
I could totally see an octogenarian in Manhattan wearing this too!
And I think a lot about what you said too: is it enough just to wear anything with confidence, or is good taste important too? And what even is good taste? A lot of it seems to be what we decide as a culture at any given time.

I’m preparing for my old age lol
Same, it’s inexorably coming for us all.
I love the blazer with the scoop neck. See me wearing that too! Love the necklace choice too!
Thank you Andrea!!
I love how you play with different pieces to achieve different looks Sita ❤️
Thank you!!!
If I wore that Olsen outfit I’d look straight out of the asylum 😂 they truly can get away with so much! Loved all your looks btw xx
Lol so would I. Although I’m still going to dream of draping a Yaser Shaw shawl over my shoulders and wandering around Berkeley that way.

Thank you!! And yes it was that formula from that post! I linked it last week when I talked about it but should have linked again here.
